Work at Home and Make Money Online in the Philippines
I decided to find out what results am I going to get in search engines when I typed in work at home philippines and make money online philippines. I have to say that I’m not really happy with the results simply because I didn’t find any good information about affiliate marketing. Even the paid advertisements promote a lot of data entry stuff which can be totally misleading to a complete beginner.
There are also many sites promoting answering surveys, paid-to-click sites, browsing ads, reading emails, etc. Another one that’s being heavily promoted is MLM which I believe is also a pyramid scheme. I have nothing against these methods of making money online but I know and believe that affiliate marketing stomps them all!
If you feel otherwise then I totally respect your opinion but please don’t start a debate here. I just want to give some information and help my fellow kababayans on how to start their affiliate marketing business.
At this point you probably don’t have any intentions of starting an online business. I finished college at a very late age of 27 and all I wanted to do was work as soon as possible in a company. That’s the overall mentality right? Finish college, work for someone else, work long years so your salary would increase and hopefully earn enough for your retirement.
Work at Home Philippines – Be Your Own Boss
The thing is you don’t have to follow what everyone else is doing. You don’t have to spend your entire life working for someone else to make them rich because you can be your own boss!
So I would like to suggest that you STOP thinking about working for someone else and START thinking about being independent. With the power of the Internet, anyone can start their Internet marketing business and make money online.

Actually there are only 2 guaranteed ways that you can make money online and it’s no surprise these methods also work effectively in an offline setting. The 2 ways are:
- Selling products and
- Promoting other people’s products in exchange for a commission which is also known as affiliate marketing
What’s So Special About Affiliate Marketing?
Obviously the first option would be more difficult because most of us don’t have the time to create our own products. That’s where affiliate marketing comes in. You see there are millions of entities online that are looking for affiliates that could promote their products or services online. If you referred a visitor to the vendor’s website and the visitor makes a purchase, you would automatically get a commission from that sale.
Here are some of the reasons why affiliate marketing rocks:
- You don’t have to answer to any boss
- You control your own schedule
- You control how much salary you want
- You can achieve passive income (earning money without actively working on it)
- You have the power to help out people
- And many many more!
Important Reminder
Now read this carefully… Keep in mind that affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. Nobody… I repeat nobody can guarantee your success online. If you see a website that sounds too good to be true then it probably is. You’ll never see any kind of success if you do not take action on what you’ve learned even if you buy the best course on making money online.
I’m just disappointed because there are many individuals who complain that they didn’t get their desired results after a few weeks or a couple of months. INTERNET MARKETING IS A BUSINESS. Think about it… if making money online was that easy then everyone would be doing it, right?

My advice for now is to look for a job but work on affiliate marketing as part-time. Work on it consistently so you can fire your boss when your income exceeds your current salary. hehehe

Being able to work at home is definitely a new but exciting idea for many Filipinos.
