Wealthy Affiliate Price Increase for 2010
Lately there have been some members who are just plain nuts to be calling WA a scam. The funny thing is that they’ve only been inside WA for 2 months or less and that they didn’t even take some action which is the real secret to making money online.

I want to ask everyone a question right now.
“Does WA look like a Microwave Dinner From the Outside?”
You know the feeling when you grab a microwave dinner, stick a fork in the plastic, and then throw it in your microwave.
It feels cheap doesn’t it. You also know that you are not going to get a hearty meal on the inside as soon as you pick up that box.
That is the problem we have run into with Wealthy Affiliate.
Our price indicates one thing, but our service actually indicates another. For $39 you can get a flat of beer (in Canada) or you can join the Wealthy Affiliate University. If I had a choice like this in college, I would have definitely gone for the latter…
School for $39 bucks.
From the outside it appears that those we are serving macaroni and cheese, heated up in the microwave, when in fact we are actually offering on the inside is a nice Lobster Ravioli from an acclaimed Italian restaurant.
It really doesn’t make sense and the more we thought about it and the more we heard “you are too cheap” or “you can’t really offer what you say you do for $39″, the more a price increase weighed on our minds.
I want to take you back quickly and let you know where we have come with WA…
We started out as a keyword list website. 5 years ago people joined WA knowing that they would get 5 new keyword lists every month. These keyword lists probably took us about 2 hours to create in total…and we were charging $29.99 per month for this. People were more than happy to join at this price. We didn’t even have a forum!
Since then we have added…

We had one price increase 2 years ago, from $29.99 to $39. We have spent millions in development though? Why just $10?
An since that two years, we have launched WA platinum and a slew of new tools and systems. We have slowly created a system that has become way to undervalued and in fact, we have had complaints from the outside from people

THE PRICE AT WA IS GOING UP SIGNIFICANTLY
Let me grab your heart before it sinks into your stomach. The price for NEW members after the price increase date (JUNE) will be going up.
If you are an existing member, you will not be subject to any price increase. We would never pull the rug from underneath you and force you to pay more. You signed-up to WA at the price you did and that is what you will continue getting it at.
You will also continue getting full access to updates, new systems and new tools that we are going to be offering members in the near future, and obviously in the years to come. I can tell you that we have some awesome new systems coming to WA!!
We will continue pushing the envelope at WA and are investing all of our resources into making this an even better community for all.
One thing that I want to make clear though about the pricing of any product, WA or otherwise. It is better off to charge less and exceed the expected value than to charge more and under-deliver. In saying this, we know we will still be over-delivering at a much higher price.
Thus, we are going to be making some changes to our pricing structure in early June.

ty for the update. I have been a member of WA in the past and I do think it is a right move by k & c to move the price up higher. I found the price to be a bit of a deterrent when i joined because I was used to paying at least $97 for a membership online. The value is by far much greater than that and I would not have quit if I didn’t have some family issues to tend to. I will be back in before the 7th tho…trust that.

……..Price of Wealthy affiliate increased Dramatically, i am new , dont know much, as i come in to concious, i realize the importance of Affiliate marketing, but at the same time, price go up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Wat a Heck is that?? Why does it happens to me, when i thought to be enter
I think in America/Canada/UK ,, 100$ per month is not considered too much, but for me , its more than enough , how it is possible , it is an amount just like investment for me , (at that time, when i have to learn it from zero)
So wat do i do???
