The Affiliate Code Review – Blinded By The Secret?

Now before I give you The Affiliate Code review, I just need to tell you that Internet marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s a real business that you need to work hard for. Cool? Let’s continue.

To tell you the truth, I would immediately buy this shiny product if I didn’t know any better. But since I joined Wealthy Affiliate back in July, I learned the overall picture of how making money online with Internet marketing works. I’m not saying I know everything because there’s still a long way to go. (here’s my Wealthy Affiliate review).

What I’m saying is that I know the things that are really possible. With the resources and most especially the tips and support that I get from the Wealthy Affiliate community, I’ve learned what is really needed to become a successful Internet marketer. But enough of that because this is not about Wealthy Affiliate, right?

The Affiliate Code Review

Like I said, I didn’t buy The Affiliate Code but I did a lot of research in order to give you the best information on whether this product is right for you or not. There’s a small chance that you can find some honest and unbiased reviews especially if it’s about making money online. I’ve seen so-called review sites that just summarized the product’s sales page and will just give you bonuses.

What is The Affiliate Code?

The Affiliate Code is a product from Michael Jones who also released The ClickBank Code just a few months ago. The problem is that the guide is geared towards the more experienced people. That’s why Michael Jones came back with The Affiliate Code to cater to those who are just starting to make money online.

In a nutshell, The Affiliate Code is a set of training videos that will show you step-by-step all you have to do to make money online by promoting products of other people using free website traffic methods.

What’s Inside The Affiliate Code?

The Affiliate Code is broken down into 39 videos with 8.5 hours of training that teaches you how to build your affiliate business from the ground up and using free methods to drive customers to your offers. Here’s a brief overview:

  • Module 1 – Choosing a profitable niche
  • Module 2 – Selecting the right product
  • Module 3 – Setting up your website
  • Module 4 – Using a mailing list system
  • Module 5 – How to write persuasive content
  • Module 6 – Generating website traffic
  • Module 7 – Tracking of results
  • Module 8 – How to scale everything up

What Bothered Me?

The one critical thing that really bothered me after watching the sales videos and review pages is the promise of quick search engine rankings. The one thing that I learned inside Wealthy Affiliate and based on my own experience is that SEO will take some time depending on many different factors. Sure, it’s possible to do some blackhat tricks to rank in days but sooner or later Google is going to catch up and bring your business down.

Final Thoughts

If you’ve already made a few sales from your campaigns then you won’t find anything new in The Affiliate Code. There’s a big chance that you’re already applying what’s inside.

Now if you’re a complete beginner or a very experienced marketer then I would highly recommend you join Wealthy Affiliate. Why? The price for The Affiliate Code is $77 and the monthly membership for WA is $39 ($29 if you pay for a full-year).

You can stay inside WA for 2 months (you can even stay for only a month and be a different marketer after that time) and have access not only to the learning materials and marketing tools but you’ll also get to experience what’s inside the Wealthy Affiliate forum. You can read my Wealthy Affiliate review to learn more. I really hope that you’ve found this review helpful.

PS. If you don’t have the budget for a WA membership then check out my 4 Day Money Making Blueprint review.

There’s some good stuff in The Affiliate Code, but there’s still the “Cloak and Dagger” element. What do I mean? Well, all the websites that Michael Jones sets up and all the domains he uses are registered to a Ken Walker, not Michael Jones as shown in the videos. Is Michael Jones just an alias and why don’t we get to see the front page of Google that’s supposed to list the site after 16 hours of it being set up?

Do the math. ShoeMoney isn’t the only Internet Marketer being wealthy right now. Here’s two good examples of high Cost Per Action earnings: Bira earned $17,273.27 last month with 12,333 leads and 89,762 clicks. Originator earned $882.64 yesterday with 188 leads and 3,117 clicks. I read this blog and I know you’re marketers. Follow my URL link, consider the site, research, consider yourself lucky and sign up.

Bought the program and implemented it. After I had completed it I noticed that there were holes that Michael had not explained in the program. I was able to go back and figure them out myself. Being brand new to IM it was an interesting excercise, but one that did not yield the expected results. I was not able to get a page ranking on Google that was talked about and when I contacted the helpdesk after several attempts I had no response and the tickets were closed. This gave me some interesting knowledge, but if you are looking for some support to make this work then this is not the purchase I would recommend.
