My Amazon Monthly Earnings For June

02 July 2011 ~ 21 Comments

If you take a quick read at my Amazon earnings post in January, I said that I would report my Amazon earnings on a monthly basis but would stop posting when I reach the $500 month.

Well, I’m excited to report that June 2011 is that month!

I’ve set a new record this June and almost doubled what I’ve earned last May 2011 by generating $562.22! Thank you God!

June 2011 Amazon Earnings – $562.22

Amazon Income Recap

  • January 2011 – $79.54
  • February 2011 – $154.47
  • March 2011 – $237.62
  • April 2011 – $134.05
  • May 2011 – $288.99
  • June 2011 – $562.22

I’m too lazy to calculate the percentage of sites that contributed to my earnings. But I believe that most of my commissions came from only 3-5 sites and the rest probably came from related purchases and from sites that I built some months ago.

What Have I Learned So Far?

Patience is so important especially when you’re using SEO to get traffic. The number of days or weeks for a site to rank on top of SERPS will depend on how competitive your keywords are (what pages are ranking in the top 10).

The good thing about promoting Amazon physical products is that your competition in search engines isn’t really that difficult to outrank. You can easily get your first sale from a new site in less than a month if you do things correctly.

When it comes to the number of monthly searches for a keyword, I’m having success with choosing keywords that have an ‘exact’ monthly search of 1K (I use the Google keyword tool).

Then put some effort into writing quality product reviews because getting traffic doesn’t mean anything if you cannot convert your visitors into buyers. If you don’t like to write then the only option you have is to outsource your review articles. If you don’t have the money to outsource then stop whining and just get to work asap so you can reinvest later.

Right now I’m just going to continue on building these Amazon money machines until I reach my target income goal. If you want a good blueprint on how to setup mini sites that promote Amazon products then I highly recommend that you check out this course.

Ray, what can I say. That is fantastic!!!
I first came across you in early February. We had both posted income reports on our respective websites with your January income at US$79 and mine at £74. We were both new to the Amazon game and we both had similar goals regarding growing our online income, but you have blown me out of the water big time. Congratulations.
As for me, I will continue to plod along and will continue to monitor your progress.
    Cheers
    Richard

Well done Raymond. After that good news I dont like to bring down the general mood of celebration but I have an important question that might affect us all. I read today that California have enacted a new tax law that has led Amazon to cancel its Affiliate program there. I then learned that other states have followed suit and Amazon has been forced to cancel their Affiliate program in those states too. I dont understand the tax details (who does?), but if this continues Amazon will have no Affiliate program in the States. Now I live in Denmark, so I dont know how this affects me, if at all, but its got me worried. Raymond do you know anything about this and how it may affect us? I would love to hear your thoughts?

There’s always a solution for everything Michael if you ask the right questions.

    hi raymond,

Nice to meet (at last) someone from the Philippines making real money online. I have been wanting to build sites for years lol. but i just didn’t get through it successfully. I already know how to promote. actually one of my problem is the content creation. do you have any suggestion on where or how to make a great content that converts? thanks

looking forward to your response :)

    Be blessed

    Miles
    PS
I actually paid someone to make my site but I’m not really happy with it (specially the content) if you can suggest anything, Id really appreciate it =)

When it comes to writing content, always think of how you can greatly benefit your visitors. Give them enough helpful information and they will reward you with their trust.

How do you encash an Amazon check here in the Philippines?

Clickbank checks are easy with BPI, what about Amazon…would that be the same case with CB?

    • Raymond Selda 12 September 2011 at 8:06 pm Permalink

Yup. Cashing out Amazon checks is just the same way as CB checks as they’re both dollar checks. But I like Amazon more because they always send the checks on time. :)

      • EA 12 September 2011 at 8:10 pm Permalink

I see. Thanks for the reply. Usually CB checks arrive approximately 15 days when mailed.

I’m asking about Amazon checks as by the end of this month, I’ll be building my first Amazon affiliate site.

        Thanks for that info.

        • Raymond Selda 16 September 2011 at 11:24 am Permalink

Amazon checks arrive on time. They have a different payment scheme in terms of schedule. When you reach their payment threshold which I think is $100, you’ll get the check only after 2 months. I just got my June 2011 Amazon check together with my Clickbank check a few minutes ago which is really sweet! Thank you God for sending the checks! :)

    Dear Raymond,

Congratulations. Your earnings made me realize the potential of those unemployment people to create consistent passive income in just 6 months. I would register WAU to find the correct way to sell Amazon products.

    Thanks for the info.

I appreciate your skype if you dont mind. Thanks

Hi there, I would just like to know what other training would be beneficial in building Amazon review sites. I already got the one from Steve Hines under your link but I am not that satisfied. I built a site but I was not able to make any sales that I ended up giving up. How long would it normally take you to make a sale after setting up a review site? Have you heard of Deadbeat Super Affiliate by Dan Brock? WAU seems to be more on the CB side and not on Amazon, am I right? I want to focus more on Amazon rather than CB. Hope you can help me. It’s frustrating.

    • Raymond Selda 6 November 2011 at 7:08 pm Permalink

I recommend Matt Carter’s Rapid Profit Formula. I also have Dan Brock’s course but I think it’s not going to be available since he replaced it with a new product. Getting sales will depend on a lot of factors and you’ll only learn it through experience.
