Deadbeat Super Affiliate Review

01 December 2010 ~ 18 Comments

Update: I’m not promoting Deadbeat Super Affiliate anymore because Dan Brock lost his mind! hahaha! Dan released his latest product, Deadbeat Millionaire and I didn’t know that he would remove his Deadbeat Super Affiliate course.

The Deadbeat Millionaire is a whole different product from his Deadbeat Super Affiliate as it’s a money making software. I’ve seen the sales page and it looks like those regular hyped up websites that you see everyday and personally I don’t like the sound of using software with making money online.

Good news for you because I just bought another Amazon affiliate marketing course and after going through it, I feel confident in recommending the course to you (you can also get my bonuses).

I know you’re a busy individual so I’m going to go ahead with my Deadbeat Super Affiliate review. The main reason why I bought DSA is because I wanted to learn how to make money online by promoting physical products from Amazon. Take note that this is also applicable to any affiliate network with physical products. Another motivation for me to buy this course is that I needed a break from promoting Clickbank products.

This can also be your Profitzon review because that was the original name of the course when Dan Brock launched it. But he had some problems with the name because a lot of people are getting the spelling wrong.

Actually I didn’t need to buy Deadbeat Super Affiliate because I could just duplicate what I’ve been doing successfully in my past campaigns. Promoting information products is very challenging but I’m glad that I started out with Clickbank because now I have developed some essential SEO skills and converting the traffic into buyers.

I would also advice you to think really hard before buying Deadbeat Super Affiliate especially if you already have your own method. If you think that you’re going to get some easy sales by purchasing this course then think again. One way to really kill your progress is to jump from one course to another so sleep it out first before making a decision. If you’re already making some good commissions then there’s no rush to pick this one up.

In my case, I’m just looking for any kind of information that I can add to my knowledge and improve my online business. I only buy courses that are within my price range which is less than $100 but I can go over if it’s really something new or if it’s a case study. But if you’ve been in the IM scene for some time now it’s very rare for any course to be teaching something revolutionary.

Deadbeat Super Affiliate Review

The Deadbeat Super Affiliate has a core training section with 30 modules that will walk you from setting up your first Amazon affiliate site to maximizing your campaign’s profitability. You can also find a link to a webinar section, list building training and bonuses. But I only focused on the core training which is more than enough for what I’ve paid for.

Like I’ve said above, this course is not only made for Amazon. There’s a module inside where Dan gives you a list of over 40 affiliate networks that sells physical products. Inside the module you can find affiliate networks like eBay, Commission Junction, Shopping.com, Best Buy, Pet Smart, and many others.

I also learned the factors that you need in order to find a good Amazon product to promote. There are 4 points that you need and one of them is that the product must have a price of $100 and above. This is an obvious one especially if you’re concerned with the low commissions but the other remaining factors will increase your chances of being profitable in your campaigns.

When it comes to keyword research, Dan looks for a keyword that has a minimum of 3K broad monthly global searches. It seems that this is the basic threshold when it comes to search volume and he also gives you an explanation on the profitability of each keyword. If you’ve been online for a while then you might probably skip this one.

I didn’t pay too much attention with domain registration and hosting module. Basically all you’re going to do is register keyword-rich domain names and I’ve been doing this for a long time now. But this module will definitely help those who are completely new to domain registration and website hosting.

What about linkbuilding techniques? Don’t worry because there’s a linkbuilding module inside Deadbeat Super Affiliate but it will only teach you how to get social bookmarking links. Honestly, I don’t use social bookmarking links yet in my strategy but I believe they can be very effective for the kind of sites you’ll create using DSA. You will also have access to a module that will teach you additional linkbuilding techniques such as blog commenting, forum postings, high PR forum profile links and building a linkwheel.

One very effective link building technique that I would suggest is article marketing. There’s also an added benefit when using articles for promotion. You can hit two birds in one stone because your articles can rank for long tail keywords (giving you indirect traffic to your site) and at the same it can give you some backlinks to your money site. This type of linkbuilding is also discussed inside the Deadbeat Super Affiliate course.

There are also 4 modules that will teach you how to improve your conversions and I’ve learned a lot from this series. You’ll learn some of the elements that Dan uses in his product sites to increase conversions. He also stressed that you don’t need to implement all of the tactics for every site that you’ll create. In my opinion, the lessons I’ve learned in the conversion modules alone are well worth the price of the course.

Deadbeat Super Affiliate Review – My Verdict

What I’ve written here is only a small portion of what you’re going get when you buy Deadbeat Super Affiliate. All I can say is that from now on Dan Brock is going to be my number one authority when it comes to selling physical products. This guy knows his stuff and he made his knowledge very accessible because of the price of his course.

The upsells were really annoying but you can totally implement DSA without taking any of the upsells. The one-time up front price is all you need to get started in promoting physical products. So again, if you don’t have enough budget then it’s perfectly fine if you pass on the upsells.

You see I was one of the people who didn’t like the idea of promoting physical products. But after going through the Deadbeat Super Affiliate, I now have full confidence to start and be successful in the physical product route. In fact, I already have a site that promotes a certain brand of juicer. hahaha!

The Deadbeat Super Affiliate is perfect for you if:

  • You’re frustrated in promoting Clickbank products
  • You’re looking for your first affiliate marketing sale
  • You don’t like promoting websites with super long hyped up sales pages
  • You’re looking to add another income stream to your online business
  • You’re searching for some awesome techniques to add to your knowledge

If you are any of the following people above then I highly recommend that you get yourself a copy of the Deadbeat Super Affiliate. By the way, if you live in Colorado then you CANNOT promote Amazon stuff because of the new state regulation on sales tax collection. I’m not sure with other states but make sure that you do your research before proceeding.

My Deadbeat Super Affiliate Bonus

Dan only touched on a few linkbuilding basics and that’s why I’m giving you an awesome guide that will show you more effective ways of generating quality backlinks to your money sites. I’ll also include a guide that will help you in looking for a profitable niche that you could promote to and this will be a good supplement to promoting physical products. Plus you’ll get an in-depth guide of how article marketing works which is one of the techniques that I’m using to make money online whether I’m promoting physical products or not.

As you can see, I want to give you bonuses that can really help and support your marketing efforts when following the Deadbeat Super Affiliate. Here’s what you’ll get when you buy through my link:

Dan Brock really does know his stuff and I’d recommend his deadbeat super affiliate to anyone struggling to earn income online. Pick a niche you CAN target – Build real content and get links in. Your bonuses here plus Dan’s course and insight is enough to get anyone going in the right direction. It’s really not that hard to make money online. Truth is most people just don’t have the backbone for it. Like you say everywhere here!… it is the mindset that makes the difference and it IS crucial. Congrats on getting traction and making progress Ray.

    Hi,

Great review. I find you to be transparent with your opinions. Ia m just getting online and I want to get into affiliate marketing but I just don’t know where to start. I have to questions (1). Do I need to have a blog to get into affiliate marketing. (2) Do I need an autoresponder (3) can I join Amazon if I live in Jamaica.

    Thanks,
    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,

You don’t need to have a blog to get started. You can use free websites like Squidoo, Blogger or Weebly as your landing page. Then you write articles and submit them over at EzineArticles.com or ArticlesBase.com so you could drive traffic to your landing page. Try to write at least 30 articles targeting long tail keywords then move to another campaign. Rinse and repeat.

Personally, if you’re just a beginner I wouldn’t advice you to start with an autoresponder. I’m not sure about Jamaica. Just do a quick search online for that information. Hope this helps you out Adrian.

    Hey Raymond,

Thanks for your prompt respond. It was very helpful, but I didn’t understand what you meant by a landing page, so I did a Google search to get some insight on this. My understanding is that a landing page is a page that talks about your product and in that page you have some affiliate links. But how do I put these links?

    Adrian

Sorry for the terms. Yup, you’re right… a landing page is where your affiliate links are and it’s where you do the pre-selling to really help your customer. If you don’t have a domain, Squidoo and other free sites are going to be your landing pages. This review post is another example for a landing page.

I was under the impression that social web 2.0 sites like Squidoo don’t like direct affiliate links in their pages. Can you comment on this? Should my Squidoo page link to my own website first then the affiliate product sales page, or can I link directly from squidoo to the affiliate sales page?

Also, can you discuss the difference – benefits and drawbacks – to linking to the affiliate sales page and direct linking to the affiliate order form.

    Thanks. Great reviews.

I don’t use Squidoo in my campaigns but I believe they still allow affiliate links. But a lot of marketers have been slapped by Squidoo so it’s better to use them as a backlink to your money pages. As much as possible it’s better to pre-sell the customers before you send them to the merchant’s sales page.

Do you know anything about the Deadbeat SEO software selling for $200? I am brand new to this affiliate promotion of physical products and just purchased the Deadbeat Super Affiliate training software – and have not yet received it. I am not keen on spending an additional $200 without some working knowledge of the program. Then again, I would like to have all the resources at hand to be successful.

    Hi Tom,

I didn’t purchase the Deadbeat software but it’s priced at $67/month so I’m not sure what’s the deal with the $200 software. I suggest you send their support an email if you didn’t get what you’ve ordered. I’m sure everything will be sorted out.

I purchased Dan’s Deadbeat Super Affiliate and am extremely pleased. I did not know a lot about WordPress and linking and I have learned so much in so little time. Dan takes linkbuilding to another level.

I own an article directory and have shared Dan Brock’s link with my members.

I just want to say that I usually am not pleased with the deals I receive from sellers, but Dan’s Deadbeat Super Affiliate is a keeper.

    Hi Raymond

    Idzwan from Malaysia.

Are there ANY hindrances for me to become an Amazon affiliate from my country?

    i- Do they ALLOW it?
ii- Any problems with accepting the commissions?
ii- Any other problems I can’t foresee?

    Thanks

    • Raymond Selda 17 April 2011 at 10:31 pm Permalink

Don’t anticipate problems. There’s always a workaround for anything. I’m not sure about your situation but if there’s a will there’s a way.

    Hi Raymond,

Is there much extra in deadbeat super affiliate to make it worth purchasing if you already own Amazon Affiliate Mini Money Machines?
I’m just wondering whether it’s worth the extra cost to get it as well.

    • Raymond Selda 28 July 2011 at 11:06 am Permalink

It’s definitely worth it but I think Dan has replaced it with a new product (Deadbeat Millionaire) and I’m not sure if DSA is included in it.
