Chris Farrell Membership Review

Why am I writing this Chris Farrell Membership review when I’m a proud Wealthy Affiliate member for 13 months now? We are all different and I’ve realized that not everyone is going to be successful inside Wealthy Affiliate. Some beginners are also having some issues with WA’s monthly fees so I decided to check out this program.
I got to know about the Chris Farrell Membership because I found out that it’s voted number one Internet marketing service by IMReportCard.com. That’s why I decided to check it out and see what the buzz is all about.
In this Chris Farrell Membership review I’m going to share with you what I love about this site. I wanted to play the role of a beginner because I wanted to know if this site can really help out someone who is just getting started out.
Don’t get fooled into thinking that CFM is only for beginners. The concepts that Chris Farrell teaches will definitely help you in building a solid online business that will last for a lifetime. The question is if you’re prepared to take action and put in enough time needed to be successful which sadly for most people are not going to do.

Chris Farrell Membership Review – The Good Points
Here are just some of the things that really stand out for me inside the Chris Farrell Membership:
Structured and Organized Getting Started Modules – The Chris Farrell Membership makes it very clear for any beginner on where they should start their training on making money online. I honestly think that Wealthy Affiliate could take a few pointers on how Chris structured the getting started action plan. After every module, there will be a ‘What Do I Do Now? Click Here’ button which clearly helps out a beginner on where to go next.
High Quality Video Lessons – Chris Farrell loves to use the power of videos to explain the concepts involved with making money online. I personally like the videos where you can see and hear Chris talk to you simply because it has a more personal approach. Also you wouldn’t feel like you’re all alone in learning this Internet marketing business which can be really scary especially if you’re just starting out.
An Important Message from Chris That Gurus Won’t Tell You!
I Love Traffic You Love Traffic – Everything you need to get started to drive traffic to your web pages can be found in this section. I’ve started my online business over a year now but I still learned some new techniques that I could use to increase my traffic. Again, I Love Traffic, You Love Traffic is going to be delivered in video format and that’s a huge plus for me because it’s like I’m just looking behind his shoulders.
EUI – EUI stands for Educating, Understanding and Implementing. Chris is very consistent on drilling this into your head because this is the key to being successful in making money online. A lot of people will dive straight into this business with no proper mindset and what they don’t realize is that they already failed because they didn’t have a good solid plan to begin with.
Email Marketing – Chris Farrell is a big advocate of building a list because it’s the method that he successfully implements. This is a very powerful method to learn and master, however, I feel that email marketing is not the best route that a beginner should take. It could really take a lot of tweaking and trial and error before you can successfully generate a good income with email marketing.

Chris Farrell Membership Review – The Not So Good Points
Website – The website is a bit of a turn-off for me. I’m a big fan of semantic HTML and CSS and I don’t like seeing HTML tables used in a website’s layout.
Videos Not Loading – I don’t know if I’m having some bandwidth issues but sometimes the videos are not showing up. I suspect that the site’s poor structure has something to do with the loading issues because a web page that’s built with HTML tables will really eat up a lot of bandwidth.
Chris Farrell Membership Review – My Verdict
I’ve been inside Wealthy Affiliate since July 2009 and I know a quality membership site when I see one. Chris Farrell Membership is one of the few places where you can really learn how to make money online.
If you’re a complete and clueless beginner about affiliate marketing then this is the program that will literally hold your hand every step of the way. During your first few days you’ll immediately feel the confidence that you can succeed with affiliate marketing. There will still be an overwhelming feeling and this will happen 90% of the time but it’s going to be a lot more manageable because of how the Chris Farrell Membership is laid out.
I’d like to remind you again that this business will take some consistent work on your part. If you want instant gratification and get rich quick schemes then don’t even think about joining Chris Farrell or even getting into affiliate marketing.
Good thing you took the time to read my Chris Farrell Membership review. I really hope that you’ll make a good decision on where to invest your time and money when it comes to starting a successful online business.

Hi Raymond,
I am interested in starting internet marketing. But I am one of those that is starting from scratch and I know nothing about it. Which would you recommend Wealthy affliate or this one CFM? The monthly for Wealthy Affiate is still ok with me. Which one is more friendly or better for those starting out?
Thanks!
Regards,
Marco Glindro
@Marco: I tried out the Chris Farrell program on the trial membership. What I thought was that it provides great help and support for beginners. There is a tremendous amount of training material on there and support through forums and so on.
The only reason I did not continue beyond the trial is because I did think it was aimed at beginners and was not necessarily right for me. However, I would recommend it to people just starting out (especially if they are confused about the technical side of setting up websites, email autoresponders and the like).
I have not joined Wealthy Affiliate so cannot help you on that one, I’m afraid.
Thanks for leaving your feedback on Chris Farrell John. Marco and I already talked and I believe he’s having a blast inside Wealthy Affiliate.
Hi John,
Thanks for the feedback and advice. Me and Raymond talked and I decided to join Wealthy Affiliate. So far so good and will have my first website up and running soon. There is a lot of information in Wealthy Affiliate, can get overwhelming at times. I just had to talk it slowly, and learn the basics first.
Hope you’re doing well too in your internet marketing.
Take care and thanks again!
Regards,
Marco
Definitely aimed at the newbie. His presentation is excellent. I believe he was a Radio presenter previously. He does seem to cover the basics very thoroughly. The very good IMReportcard feedback is reassuring. All in all I like his membership site a lot.
After floundering around looking for some good IM education, I found Chris Farrell. I found his website to be just what I needed. It filled in many of gaps that I needed at that time. I still go back to use his site as a reference. It is definately the best use of my IM education budget to date.
Like zillions of others, as a bit of a techie eejit I’ve looked at very many so-called blueprints and so on; and have bought quite a lot, too. So far, so bad. I hate long sales pages that promise the earth and only deliver a small allotment and am still looking for a simply explained, A to Z, nothing left out (no knowledge presumed), tutorial – or something similar – that won’t befuddle my simple mind and that just might allow me, in due course, to make some money online. I’m not after riches (though that would be nice), but simply a reasonably substantial regular income that doesn’t require me to camp at the pc 24 hours a day.
Now, I’ve heard and read a lot about CF and I’ve looked at his websites. Therein, for me at least, lies the problem; websites, plural. I don’t doubt that he’s a good teacher, and so on, but where does someone like me start? His membership (and then where do i go within the membership?), the grenades, 21/33 days to success, ad infinitum…
I’d be pleased to hear from you…
NG
I am struggling to find a website designer who knows how to create password protection for web content you want to sell. In my case, it is new face exercises I have created since the publication of my book, Face Exercises That Prevent Premature Aging.
Does Chris teach his members how to creast password protection? His site has that protection. One has to pay for membership before they become a member.
I have alresdy lost money to one web designer by thinking they knew how to create this protection on my website and approach proomises with caution now.
Jeanette Johnson
I’m not sure about this but I’m guessing that Chris won’t teach you anything specific such as creating password protected sites. My advice is go to trusted freelance sites like elance and odesk.
Hi Norman,
You can actually approach making money online in 2 ways. For eg. if you want to earn $100 per day then you could either build 10 sites that will earn $10 per day. Or you build one main site and put all your efforts into generating highly targeted traffic to that site.
This is one very simple and practical lesson I learned from Kyle (one of the owners of Wealthy Affiliate). If you’re going to go with the one site approach then make sure that your niche is in a big and already proven market (health, wealth, relationship, etc).
Like I’ve said in my review, Chris Farrell’s teachings will revolve around email marketing and personally, I think he provides a very good path that you could follow.
If there’s anything else feel free to ask. Take care
Many thanks Raymond. Can you, then, please tell me where I should go within his ‘empire’, which tutorial/blueprint/website I should focus on? At the moment, I’m suffering from potential information overload, as mentioned above.
All the best
NG
When you join Chris Farrell, the directions will become clear to you. I can’t really tell you exactly what you should do because we’re all different. I’m sure about one thing, you’re in good hands with Chris Farrell. Like Chris said, making money online is a skill. You have to learn to crawl before you can learn to walk and eventually run.
Hi NG!
This is Chris Farrell here!
I just wanted to answer your question about INFORMATION OVERLOAD!
I know EXACTLY what you mean – as I (and most others) suffered from exactly that when I began.
However you may like to know that I have structured my site to address this very issue – and I lay everything you need to do out in a ‘day 1′ day 2′ structure.
I am NOT however saying this to try and get you to join! Just to let you know that you have nothing to worry about if you do (and it’s only $4.95 to take a look)
Kindest
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thanks for dropping by and addressing Norman’s concerns about information overload. Thank you so much for your membership and for being a great teacher. Take care!
Nice touch.
Thought this was quite interesting, from imreportcard. Without any agenda whatsoever (I want CF to be The Great Guru for all onlinekind!), infoclick’s comment is a fair one, isn’t it?

‘Let me be CLEAR…I believe that they are out there. This is no indictment! Question is; Where? These folks NEED to post HERE on THIS site….complete the circle, ring the bells… declare all the successes. Right now it looks and sounds like an awful lot of Professional students.’
I joined Chris Farrell’s course a couple of days ago after 2 years of trying different aspects of on-line marketing.
I must say from what I’ve seen so far most of the information he provides is available for free IF you want to SPEND (what’s your time worth?) 2yrs looking for it.
What the course does do is put it all in one place in a format that is very easy to understand and with excellent support.
Also of extreme value is, he gives you the sense you can trust him so you are more likely to FOLLOW the training and not lose focus and jump around trying different things that may or may not work.
Hi,
Great review, I’ve recently joined Chris’ membership site, and have already learnt how to create a website and have it up and running. Chris’ way of teaching is excellent, he takes you through everything and I mean everything, step by step, your never alone.
This site is much different to others I’ve joined in the past, and I truly believe in his techinques.
I just read about CFM and your site for two days. I would like to give it a try. How can I sign up for trial and then membership if i really like it
Hi Yenmy,
You can click any of the CFM links in my post and you’ll see a join link in the upper left corner of Chris Farrell’s site. Once you’re inside, send me your receipt so I can send you the bonuses. Cool? Thanks a lot!
Hi Raymond,
You said that you don’t advocate email marketing for beginners, so what’s the best route for a beginner to take? What do you advocate? I’ve also been a member of WA for a few months, but I couldn’t achieve good results. I’ve wrote some articles and got traffic through PPC with a good CPC. I had more than 100 visitors and no conversions at all, maybe my landing page wasn’t the best, but I couldn’t do it. I’ve decided to stop it and jumped to another site, I realize that this is a mistake….but that’s what happened.
I think the concept of building a list is a great technique…, but what do you think is the best route for a beginner. I don’t have problems building sites, etc….. I’m trying to make at least 200$ per month from 7 months and still I can’t achieve it.
Thank you!!!
Hi Simeon,
In my opinion, the best path to take is article marketing and SEO. Please understand that this is not a debate on whether AM and SEO is better than PPC. Each of them has its pros and cons and I’m certainly not saying that I wouldn’t use PPC. It just so happens that I’m getting consistent results with free forms of traffic and so I just rinse and repeat.
There’s a lot of variables why a campaign wouldn’t convert. Are you choosing the proper keywords? Is your landing page relevant to the keyword that you’re targeting? Are you sure that your niche is looking for what you’re offering?
You can get good clickthroughs from your ads but if your visitor landed on your landing page but didn’t see your offer as being relevant to what they need, they will go away. Also, the average is 100 clicks (not visitors) to the merchant’s site. Maybe you got to increase CTR’s in your landing page. I don’t know and it will take a lot of testing and tweaking before you learn how to get conversions.
For you to earn $200 per month, you need to be averaging around $7 per day. If you promote a product with a $20 commission then all you need to do is get 10 sales per month. Now all you have to do is come up with a plan (SEO or PPC) on how to achieve this.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your reply Raymond! I appreciate your help
Hi Raymond,
I’m a little confused about reviews online at this moment in time. If you’re linking to Chris Farrell’s website and will get a commission from anyone clicking through from this site then how objective and independent is your review?
Is this another clever internet marketing affiliate tool to use to scratch each other’s backs?
I’m genuinely curious.
Thanks for your opinion Mairead. You shouldn’t be confused because it’s really simple. If I believe that a product will help an individual learn how to make money online then I will recommend it. I’ve been inside Chris Farrell so I know the quality that’s being provided inside.
You already know that there are so many courses and push-button software that will entice newbies into buying their magic solution to online riches. As long as they’re out there I will continue to feel very satisfied when someone joins Chris Farrell through my link because I know that I was able to save one person from wasting their time and money. So, are you still curious?
@Mairead: you are right to wonder about online reviews with affiliate links. Most reviews online are ‘fake’ reviews that are thinly disguised promotions but I have to say that Raymond here does provide honest reviews and personally I would acknowledge and reward that by buying through his link. (I don’t have any connection to him by the way, other than through commenting on a couple of articles on this site.)
For an example of a review by him that is very negative about a product see his article on Turbo Profit Sniper. A lot of people were really pleased to find a genuine review in that instance and I have returned to this site on a number of occasions purely as a result of that good honest content. I also left a number of comments on that article and you might find reading through the comments very interesting in terms of people’s response to Raymond’s article (not to mention their comments about the product).
As for Chris Farrell’s membership site, you can see my comment (#2) above. I think he is the real deal, does things well and looks after his members. In my opinion it is really for ‘newbies’ rather than anyone else. Also, don’t buy anything at all unless you are prepared to act upon it!
Thanks John. Appreciate it. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2011!
Thanks Raymond & John for your responses. I appreciated them. I’m aware of the ‘fake’ reviews that are online so it’s refreshing to find a site with genuine reviews.
And I’m glad that you’ve both approved Chris Farrell Membership as I’m keen to try it out
hi Raymond,
im really interested in online marketing ive been looking for something good to try for a while now alot appeared to be scams, but ive been reading alot of WA reviews and CF reviews im really interested in trying CFM which one do you think i should try? im a newbie at this, please get back to me…
thankyou
Thanks for dropping by Maria. If you’re interested in trying out CFM then go for it. Of course I’m a little biased and would recommend that you join Wealthy Affiliate instead because that’s the place where I grew up in so to speak. Whatever program you choose, you’ll be in good hands. Learning how to make money online is going to be your best New Year’s resolution. Happy New Year!
thanks for geting back to me, i think im going to make my decision and go with CFM ive read so many good things about him as well as WA, so i need to find out for myself if it really works. Happy New Year and thankyou..
Cool Maria. Like I’ve always said, Internet marketing does work but it will not do the work for you. Whether you buy a $2K course or download my free guide, you won’t get any results if you don’t take action. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
thanks, i was also wondering if once youve been in CFM do you continue to make money or is it only for newbies? does it continue to work?
You will earn money IF you put in the work and CFM is primarily geared for beginners.
hi raymond its me again i still havent sighned up for CFM site , and ive been wondering what exactly will i be doing? does he give you products to sale? Do you need to have your own?
I am probably an extreme newbie, I have been researching WA and was thinking of going that route, I am just worried that I may not be able to catch on that fast. would it make sense to start with CFM, catch on as a newbie, then later come to WA gold, and then upgrade to WA platinum membership, because hopefully by then I will be able to handle the information.
I was also curious about what happens, when I develope websites using CFM, (free hosting) and then decide I am ready to move to another program like WA gold, does CFM own them, so I end up having to leave them, or do they transfer over with me??? WA gold members from my understanding get 3 free web hostings and unlimited platinum?
Would I be wasting time jumping around like that, or would that be wise?
@Maria: You don’t need to have your own products. You can become an affiliate and promote products of other people. A good example is what I’m doing here promoting CFM.
@Shaunie: Already sent you an email.
@Shaunie:
The free web hosting simply gives you a space on a web server where your website files happen to be located and you point your domain name to that server. If you own the domain name you can switch from one hosting account to another with ease. It certainly would not mean that your websites would be ‘owned’ by CFM and thus no problem for you, although there is a small inconvenience involved if you have to move hosting accounts. (It is really a very small inconvenience once you get used to such things.)
Think of it as being like a free parking space for your car. Once you are no longer a member you don’t have the benefit of the free parking space so you have to take it elsewhere. It is still your car though.
I decided to join CFM after coming across he’s website not long ago. I have wanted to learn how to make money online for a long time but never knew where to start.
He’s free videos have really inspired me to want to learn. He is a very good teacher and it’s exciting to know l will be able to make some money online when l have learnt everything. (I am sooo pleased l have eventually found a solid place to learn, there are so many scams out there)
Does anybody know from experience how long it takes to start making any money and will the CFM show me how to be succesful and eventually make good money online, or will l need to learn even more elsewhere afterwards?
Hi Elaine,
In my experience (using SEO), when you rank your web page or articles to the top of the search engines, that’s when you should start seeing sales very soon. But obviously it will depend on some factors like your keywords and your content that’s going to talk to your visitors (conversion rate). Basically it’s all about getting targeted traffic and converting that traffic to buying customers.
I have a question… If i join CFM do i have to use his free hosting service? the reason I asked is cause i already have a hosting service paid for 2 years…
thanks,
Isaac M.
I believe it’s not mandatory that you have to use their hosting. You can just use your hosting since it’s already been paid. I’m actually more comfortable in using external hosting services like HostGator.
Hey,
Thanks for the review raymond i appreciate your honesty pointing pros and cons!
i been considering CF for a while but i am a little skeptical , i’ve read dozens of reviews and
they are all positive , from all i know from CF free newsletter
i can really tell that he is doing somethig special out there and his teaching is top notch.
but ive never seen anyone ever claming making money from his program, now don’t get me wrong.
im ready to give it my all and am not looking for gettin rich quick scheme but you have to know its going somewhere after say month 2 or even 6,right?
hope anyone member can help out with this
my best
Marco
Based on what I’ve been seeing, you should start seeing positive results within 6 months. It doesn’t really matter which program you join because it all depends on your work ethic. You have to go back to the drawing board if you’re not seeing your intended results in a specific time frame.
Thx raymond!
but does this mean that i shouldn’t expect any income before 6 months?, what kind of income i might get in a month or two to know am on the right road? im ready to work and give it my all with 30 hrs weekly, whatever it takes am giving it
thx again
Hi Raymond,
I’ve been reading your reviews on CFM. I’ve been checking out Chris’s website for quite some time. I’ve been very interested for a very long time in affiliate marketing. I am currently a full time student and I have been looking for ways to make extra income from home. I have been very impressed with CFM’s website features and all it has to offer. I’ve also checked out your WA website. I’m also impressed with it, the only thing with the WA is the $97/month would be a little steep for me right now, being that I am unemployed with minimal income. I did want to ask you about another website that I’ve come across. It is called Software Billionairs Club, and it’s ran by Chad Timothy. They actually give you 250 websites (supposedly) to market online. In a way it seems to good to be true, however, I did look at there products and they are very legit software products that people use everyday. I’m not promoting them, I just want to ask you if you know anything about this company. If it is legit as far as there products are concerned. I am about to join CFM so that I could get educated thoroughly on affiliate marketing and perhaps if SBC is legit, I could perhaps join them to start promoting the websites for extra income.
Tell what you think!
Thanks,
Karen
@Marco: As soon as you get some content ranking in the first page for your keywords, expect some sales to come in. But obviously there’s more to it than that… like the quality of your keywords, the conversion in your articles, etc. There’s really no way I can assure you the amount of income that you can get for a specified amount of time. But I’m confident, that with your time investment, you can see some encouraging results but like I’ve said, it’s ultimately up to you.
@Karen N: There’s a Gold edition inside WA that’s only at $47/month and it’s more than enough for you to get started with IM. Check out my WA review and my sweet bonus offer if you’re interested with WA.
I haven’t heard of the product that you’ve mentioned but if it’s too good to be true then it probably is. hehehe.
@Marco (and others): The point about Chris Farrell’s membership site is that it is not some magic push-button system that somehow generates cash. Instead he teaches you some of the basics you will need to know whatever direction you take. In the end it is your effort and initiative that will determine whether or not you succeed, but he provides some basic tools to get there. You could earn a little bit very quickly but a substantial income might take some time.
When I say his site teaches basic methods, I really mean it. I just received his newsletter telling me how to open a .zip file, which if you are at all technically literate is *very* basic. However, I know that there are some people who struggle with such things so he does have an audience and I am sure they appreciate it. I know his teaching methods are very clear and accessible even for people who consider themselves absolute internet newbies.
The real value I guess is being part of a community of people with someone to guide and encourage you along the way. It imposes a sort of discipline if you want to look at it in that way. You will get a daily routine of things to do and a forum where you can share your experiences. You may even meet people with whom you decide to collaborate.
So don’t expect Chris Farrell to provide you with a magic button but if you join his program for a nominal trial fee (I think it is $4.95) you can see whether it might be worthwhile for you. As I have said before, if you are confident about the technical issues and so on you might consider it a bit basic but it is worth having a look.
By the way, don’t worry about being locked in and losing your money. He has the simplest and most transparent cancellation procedure I have ever seen. (I suspect it makes good business sense: if people know they can easily cancel at any time they are more likely to give it a try.)
It’s for you to judge where you are at the moment and whether this will help you but the trial offer gives you the opportunity to evaluate it at minimal cost.
If I sound like I am promoting Chris Farrell I should say that I have no connection with him at all. I have just found him to be someone who is very professional and teaches in a way that many will find helpful.
Whatever you decide, good luck.
@Karen N: 250 websites? It sounds good but what you really need is traffic to sites as the sites in themselves are otherwise worthless, especially if the content has been duplicated a thousand times over. If you used them as a basic template, however, and started promoting a few of them seriously with some new and additional content it might make a difference.
One thing I would always suggest is having your own domain names for websites. If the websites they give you are simply automatically generated pages in a giant site you are likely to see very few benefits. Ultimately you need to control the content and be able to promote the domain name.
Thanks John and Raymond for the response. You have been very helpful. I will do further research on the “software billions club” and I will take the advice of having my own domain name into consideration. I went ahead and joined CFM and it is great. I’ve already completed first two days of the 21 days to success training. CFM is a good site for beginners. I need all the help I can get to have a successful online marketing business. Wealthy Affiliate is still a consideration also. I just had to go with the cheaper monthly membership.
Thanks again
Karen N
Hi All
Thought I’d add my 2 cents worth. I’ve been a member of CFM for a bit over a month. I’ve found it to be a great learning tool. I feel I’m closer now and making faster progress to meeting my goal of developing a web business. It was said by Raymond that we must take action to see any results. CF refers to it as implementation. Whatever we call it – it is the crucial element to succeeding at anything. I recommend CFM.
Mike
I was a member of both wealthy affiliate and the Chris Farrell membership. I personally like Chris’s because he advocates building a Email list. Last time I checked, Wealthy Affiliate talked a lot about Squidoo lenses and writing articles for Ezine. Those methods are way past their prime. I haven’t been a member their in months though, so I’m not sure if this is still the case. Building a list is so important that I wish I would of started with the Chris Farrell membership over Wealthy Affiliate’s. Both are good for newbies though, but you will out grow both of them in time if you stick to it.

Hi,
What do you think about Chris Mentor Me, do you think is any good?
Don’t have any experience with his mentorship program so I can’t give any comment about it.
Excellent post. I am a huge fan of Chris Farrell’s and his excellent training. In my opinion you can not do better than this program -when first starting out.
I’m thinking about joining Chris Farrell Membership. Do they teach me how to create niche sites for Amazon, Adsense, Clickbank, etc? I’m a web designer and I’m interested in owning an empire of websites earning me money 24 hours a day. Thank you in advance for your response.
The stuff that you’ll learn inside CFM can be easily applied to any monetization models whether it’s Amazon, CB, Adsense, etc.
Very interesting, I think i may purchase it through your link. I am gonna do some more research but it looks promising.
Take Care,
Sam
