Affiliate Genie Review – Is This Genie A Scam?

Do you like the idea of paying $97 for something that WordPress (FREE) can do for you? I noticed Affiliate Genie from my Wealthy Affiliate dashboard and that’s why I decided to do an Affiliate Genie review. I make it a point to look out for new shiny Internet marketing products and to research them as much as I can. Let’s get started.

My Affiliate Genie Review

What is Affiliate Genie?

Basically, Affiliate Genie is an easy-to-use website builder created by Chris Rempel. Their unique selling proposition is that they’ve eliminated the complexity of setting up a website. No database installation needed.

I guess there’s still many users who are having trouble with setting up WordPress or even simple static websites. Like I said, unless you have the budget to spend a whopping $97, I would highly recommend you use WordPress instead.

WordPress is so easy to use and it’s not just for web savvy individuals. There are many tutorials online that will show you step-by-step how to install WordPress. Heck, you can even ask me to install WordPress for you… just name your price.

But It Ranks Faster in Search Engines

If you’ve read previous AG reviews, they tell you that you can rank your web page in search engines in just a few days. Actually they’re not lying but you can also do this with WordPress or any other free website builders and platforms.

The basic trick I learned from Wealthy Affiliate is to focus on low-competition keywords, use those keywords in the domain name, write content that is relevant to that keyword (important) and build a few backlinks by social bookmarking or by leaving comments on related niche blogs.

I created some sites using this same technique and I can rank in less than 7 days for my keywords. Please remember that building websites alone is not enough to make money online.

My Recommendation

If you need an easy-to-use website builder then you should definitely check out Site Rubix. Honestly I don’t use Site Rubix because I’m comfortable in using WordPress for my sites. But I’ve seen many members inside Wealthy Affiliate who are successful in using Site Rubix and I have no doubt that you’re also going to experience the same thing. Click here to learn more about Site Rubix.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed my Affiliate Genie review. If you have any questions or comments then please feel free to write them comments below. Kick ass!

    Raymond,

Your review makes a very good point. You don’t need to spend any money at all to get started in affiliate marketing. WordPress is a great option and a perfect place to start because it’s free.

After using both pieces of software I find the main benefit of Affiliate Genie is that I can actually edit my own install package once, upload it, then just start cranking out good content.

What do you use for setting up your sites?

Do you design them all from scratch or build out templates?

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for the comment. I’m glad you’re having great use of AG. Right now I’m using WP for my niche sites.

    well
i,ve used both AG, WP and Xsite pro2, and my honest opinion is that WP is a nightmare to use if your a newb, even i find WP incredibly frustrating at times
(like altering theme sizes etc in the editable file = NIGHTMARE, unless of course your a WP expert)

i set up a site last night in 19 minutes straight using AG (not content or SEO optimised mind), adn that was from buying the domain at Go Daddy to hosting with Hostgator, theres no plug in to deal with (and upgrading them every 5 minutes)

IMHO, if your looking for a website builder, you could,nt get much better than AG, the speed that you can do things is incredible, and i see myself using it for a long time to come

    Also, on a side note
nothing i have EVER purchased from Chris Rempel has been a let down,
the guy walk the walk and talks the talk

    Hi David,

I’m glad you’re having a great time with AG. I also love Chris Rempel’s The Lazy Marketer. Learned a lot from it but it’s seriously not for beginners. It’s the first course I bought when I started over 6 months ago and I had no clue what he was talking about (except for the first chapters). Now everything seems to make sense now. hahaha. Thanks for taking the time to drop by and leaving your thoughts.
