My Honest Wealthy Affiliate Review

Wealthy Affiliate claims that they can teach anyone how to build a successful online business. Thousands of other programs are also making this statement but unlike most of them, Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t make those ridiculous claims about all the quick and huge money you’re going to earn once you joined their training program.

Majority of the Internet marketing guides and programs falsely claim that they have this big secret that is going to make you hundreds of dollars in a just a couple of weeks after joining or buying their product. If you believe this then please don’t waste your time reading this Wealthy Affiliate review and go look for that next big thing to getting quick riches online.

When I visited WA, I was expecting to see those typical images of luxury cars, yachts, women in bikinis and bundles of money. But to my huge relief the WA website was very simple and clear to the point. Making money online through affiliate marketing is no walk in the park so I was looking for some of those ridiculous claims and as soon as I see them I would quickly close my browser. However, Wealthy Affiliate makes this clear statement within the first couple of paragraphs:

Before you continue on reading we need to agree on something. Building a successful business on the Internet is not a get rich overnight scheme. If it were that easy to make money online, everyone would be doing it making millions of dollars a year from the comfort of their homes. If you are not willing to put in the time to learn the proper Internet Marketing techniques there is no point in even considering Internet marketing as a career or hobby.

We want to work with people at the Wealthy Affiliate University who have the desire to succeed, not those looking for a get rich overnight without working for it (there is no such thing).

This is so very true. This is the kind of statement that I would tell my family and friends if they are considering to make money online with Internet marketing. Any person or site that claims that Internet marketing is easy is a big fat liar.

For me that’s a good sign that Wealthy Affiliate is the real thing (not a scam) but after reading everything inside WA and visiting them a few times, I just didn’t pay too much attention to them. I’m just too skeptical with everything that relates to making money online. I also didn’t like the idea of paying a monthly membership because I’m still new to all of these Internet marketing stuff.

What finally sold me on Wealthy Affiliate was hearing from different people on many blogs and forums on how they are having a blast inside WA. You can easily find negative reviews online so the fact that I kept on hearing positive feedback about Wealthy Affiliate is a very good indication to take action and join their IM training.

The Real Deal Inside Wealthy Affiliate

Even though I highly recommend WA, their training program is not 100% perfect. In this Wealthy Affiliate review, I’m going to list down the pros and cons inside WA. Remember that all companies will have their own imperfections so this isn’t really a blow to Wealthy Affiliate. I just want you to be aware of these flaws so you can make a knowledgeable decision. I’m not concerned if I’m going to lose a few sales but it’s important that you know what you’re getting into.

Cons Of Wealthy Affiliate

Overwhelming Amount Of Information – Unfortunately the amount of information inside WA is also their weakness especially for complete beginners. Most of them are simply excited to make money online that they forget to read the Wealthy Affiliate Action Plan. I also experienced information overload but the key is to relax, stay focused and not get distracted. You’re not going to learn everything in one go.

Questions Being Ignored – You can interact with a lot of members inside the WA Forum and ask questions but sometimes there are still questions that are left unanswered by the members and Kyle & Carson. But this is a very rare complaint. The key to getting answers to your questions is to be specific. I have an experience where I emailed Carson and I thought he ignored my email but it took him almost a week to respond but I totally understood the situation.

Easy To Get Distracted – Most of the time you can really get caught up into reading success posts and different marketing strategies inside the WA Forum. You can also be distracted by the signature links of every members with their own product promotions. What I learned is that different methods will work for different people. What worked for someone might not necessarily work for you. Learn the basics and don’t be afraid to try out things on your own.
